This web site is owned and operated by Five Star Curtains and complete customer satisfaction is our priority. We have over 30 years experience in the textiles industry. We have a variety of modern designs available in curtains, cushions and accessories. We hold large stocks for immediate dispatch at value for money prices and offer free postage and packaging (UK mainland only).

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished making your selections, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

If you encounter any problems using the online ordering system, please email us with your query.

We will send you confirmation of your order by email. Although we endeavor to keep our website up to date with stock availability, in the unlikely event we cannot fulfill your order you will be notified. We will advise you of our earliest delivery time and option to cancel your order.

Free Samples

Photographs of products displayed on our website are representative only. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of colours displayed as these can vary depending on the light, and also the monitor they are viewed on. Therefore, to avoid disappointment and the hassle of returns we strongly recommend you take advantage of our free fabric service. Samples are available for most products, so please email us with your requirements including your name and address.

Shipping and Delivery

We ship our products using Royal Mail or a secure courier. This is dependent on the total weight of your order. Larger value orders are dispatched securely and will require a signature on delivery. If you are unavailable the delivery company should leave you a card with further instructions. Please respond to this card as soon as possible, as unclaimed items are returned and a further postage charge may be incurred for resending your order.

Orders are normally dispatched within 2 working days, and we will notify you by email when your order has been dispatched with Royal Mail/Courier.

Please inform us if your order has not been received after 7 working days. We can put a trace on your order and overcome any problems as quickly as possible. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

We can provide tracking numbers for all parcels dispatched via our courier on request.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Shipping Charges

Our STANDARD delivery (3-5 working days) is FREE to Mainland UK, no matter how large your order.

GET IT FAST - Alternatively you can choose our EXPRESS delivery (1-2 working days), for an additional £5.00.

Deliveries to the Channel Islands, Rep of Ireland and Europe will vary depending on weight. Please contact us for a quote.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is included in the price.

Payment Options/Security

For your protection and security we only accept payment from credit/debit cards via RBS WorldPay. 

You will be taken through this secure process at the checkout.

Returns/Guarantees

We have a no hassle returns policy and you may return your purchase for any reason.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days of receipt for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email quoting the order number supplied to you. Do not return goods without contacting us first. Your refund will be paid within 30 days from receipt of your return. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or we have sent the wrong item, your return postage will be refunded as well.

Any goods returned should be in sale-able condition. All packaging must be returned. Any products not returned with their packaging intact may be refused a refund or replacement.

We will not accept any product that has been altered including curtains, if the curtain tape has been pulled. Please follow any washing/care instructions on the products carefully as we cannot accept returns for any mistreated items.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Privacy Policy

We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties, with the exception of names and addresses passed to our delivery agents. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' (in Internet Explorer) and selecting block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.

Introducing A Friend

Successful and validated referrals of friends by you will entitle both you and your referred friend to a discount voucher code to the value of £10, or such other figure as advised by us from time to time. To obtain a successful and validated referral you should adhere to the following procedure.

The 'friend' must not already be registered with us and will be required to order from fivestarcurtains.co.uk using the email address you supply.  Click the link 'Introduce a Friend'. You will then be invited to enter addresses of your friends and click on the 'Submit' button. We will send an initial email to your friend but we will not send your friend any further emails without their consent. Please obtain your friend's consent before sending us their details and note that if asked, we will tell your friend who introduced them. Subject to successful registration of your friend (using the same email address you supply), you and your friend will receive the discount code when your friend's first order is paid and shipped out for delivery.

Voucher discount codes will only be valid for one (1) year from the date that the code is issued.

Voucher codes must be redeemed within 12 months of issue against orders of £20 or more. 

Only one (1) voucher code is redeemable per order. 

We reserve the right not to issue discount codes where we have reasonable grounds to suspect that there is an abuse of the friend referral scheme. Any abuse of vouchers can be stopped by fivestarcurtains.co.uk with immediate effect by canceling all discount codes/issued vouchers that a customer has received and cancel any outstanding orders. We also reserve the right to refuse orders or to issue vouchers to members that have, in the past, abused the scheme in some way.
